4-Stage Reverse Osmosis Purification System

PP → CTO → RO → T33

1. PP — Mechanical Filtration. The polypropylene cartridge traps sand, rust, silt, and other insoluble particles. This helps reduce the load on subsequent filtration stages.

2. CTO — Carbon Filtration. The Carbon Block cartridge made of compressed activated carbon helps reduce residual chlorine, organic compounds, and substances that affect the taste and odor of water. Pre-carbon filtration also helps protect the RO membrane.

3. RO — 150 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane. This is the main stage of deep water purification. The semi-permeable membrane helps reduce dissolved salts, hardness-causing minerals, heavy metal compounds, nitrates, and other impurities. Purification efficiency depends on the composition of the feed water, pressure, temperature, and operating conditions.

4. T33 — Post-Carbon Filtration. The final cartridge improves the organoleptic properties of purified water by helping remove unwanted odors and tastes before the water is dispensed.

How Does Reverse Osmosis Work?
